Did you know that carrot juice is almost identical to healthy blood?

This is critical information to apply to any recovery program, as drugs, alcohol severely affect blood chemistry for the worse, thereby also increasing cravings and decreasing nutrient absorption.

Healthy blood chemistry is the flow of life through your body.

When your blood chemistry is compromised, every organ is too.

Your blood chemistry is affected by everything that you ingest. This includes drugs, alcohol, stress and disordered eating behaviors. To repair and heal during recovery, you will want to add in carrot juice as part of recovery on a biochemical level.

In addition to being a natural blood transfusion of vitality, it helps balance blood sugar, which is something that everyone in recovery needs to focus on.

Blood sugar, mood swings, cravings and relapse all go hand in hand.

For this to truly work therapeutically for you, you will need to add in 3-6 12 oz. glasses of carrot juice daily between meals with some added fat to increase absorption of the fat-soluble nutrients. Think flax oil, organic heavy cream, avocado oil or macadamia oil etc. - just add in a tsp. per glass.

Consider adding this into your day if you in any way find yourself struggling with cravings.
